Pet care experience
My father owns his own farm so I grew up loving and caring for animals from a St. Bernard to a pregnant alpaca. I rescued an abandoned dog found on the highway and raised him for four years, now my parents are looking after him until I have my own house. I am a very active person, usually going for walks on the monon, learning how to play pickle ball or finding a good hiking trail! When I’m relaxing it’s with my cat sleeping on me while I read, write or watch TV. I work from 7am-4:30pm Monday-Friday working one on one with children with autism to help develop coping strategies. I love to stay active and I would love to help your animal stay active with me as we explore new parks around town and practice our walking skills!

Clara is amazing with my puppy, Kujo! Since I work long hours, Kujo can be a bit hyper when he first comes in contact with someone. Clara is very patient and works great with my fur baby and I would always re-book or recommend Clara!
Clara is sooo great with my puppy. She adapted well with him, always sends me photos of my little fur babies walk. She's very prompt on her responses as well, all around deff would recommend her again!
Clara is incredible! I felt 100% comfortable with leaving my dogs with her that have a bit of a complex regimen. She did great!! She sent me photos of them while I was away and always responded to my texts. I reccomend her to anyone!!

My cat is very lovable, but is protective over our home, so I cannot provide services at my apartment. I can however take your animal for walks, house sit, schedule play time at a dog park or the animals home. I choose to care for the animals of others in an environment that is comfortable to the animal while also taking the time to improve your pets quality of life by exploring new trails, hikes and parks.

Let me know if there are specific instructions for crate time, medications, food needs, social skills/limitations, or of the animal has a history of anxiety or aggressiveness. I want to create an environment of comfort and relaxation for the animals in my care at all times.
A typical day
I love to go on walks on the monon, but I also love playing at the dog park right outside of my apartment. Depending on the preferences of the owner and animal, I would usually go find a fenced in area to play outside before going for a walk. If the dog seems winded we could find a shaded spot for a break, If a dog is as energized as I am we would go for a run, with plenty of space built in for the dog to have breaks to explore, rest, and relieve themselves.

Availability
I work a full time job but it’s important for me to get outside after work as much as possible in the evening. If you have a furry family member that needs an extra hand I would love to be someone they could play with to maintain their physical health and practice working on the skills they might need help with.
