I have been working as a veterinary assistant and receptionist off and on since February 2020. I have a certificate in veterinary assisting from Pima Medical Institute (February 2020). While caring for animals, my day revolves around the needs of the dogs and cats, so I am home a lot. I have been caring for dogs and cats for most of my life, having always lived amongst dogs and cats and often with chickens, fish and other small animals. I have cared for varying breeds, life stages, medical issues and moods. My dog Dash is a senior male chihuahua mix pup who enjoys meeting new pups and people and sharing his home or a walk with other dogs. He will be excited to have buddy, but will give your pet space if they don’t feel like playing, as he loves to snooze. I'm located right next to Green Lake in Seattle-- an ideal neighborhood for dogs and dog owners! Your pup(s) will get plenty of walks with me and my pup, their own fresh water bowl, even swims at Greenlake, and Woodland dog park is about a mile away. We'd be happy if your dog joined us for some fun in the sun/rain, belly rubs, a good meal and a movie! I also love cats! I do 30 minute drop-in visits for cats where I make sure they are cared forever according to your instructions and will make sure their well-being is taken care of. In some cases I can accommodate a cat in my home, if needed. I may ask to collect an additional charge for medication administration, we this can be an added challenge.
