Clara and Oscar are a good fit for you and your pet, because we have been consistently taking care of pets - young and old - for many years. We understand many kinds of dog behaviors and how to react to a variety of doggy dilemmas. Our combined strength and energy allow us to maintain control of bigger, more excitable dogs, and our kind and gentle nature can ease smaller, older, or more nervous dogs. Above all, we have a genuine passion for dogs and for ensuring that they receive the love and care that they deserve. As residents of West Seattle, we can take your dogs on walks and runs through the many parks and neighborhoods nearby! We're excited to meet you and your furry friend (dog or cat!)!

Clara and Oscar took in both of our dogs when we had a last minute weekend trip come up, and they were so responsive, positive, and easy to work with! They sent tons of pictures and gave our dogs lots of walks and TLC. Both dogs came back to us happy and super tired out (in a very good way) after a fun weekend. We would absolutely recommend Clara and Oscar to anyone looking for a great home-away-from-home for their pups!
Clara and Oscar were the best with our dog, Peli. It was the first time we’ve ever boarded him and we were a little nervous, but from the first message they showed how much they love and care for pets in their care, and they were genuinely happy to have him for the weekend. They followed our instructions perfectly (he’s currently on running restriction), but they took him on tons of walks, sent so many pictures and gave him so many cuddles! We can’t wait for Peli to stay with Clara and Oscar again!
Clara and Oscar were awesome! Very accommodating with pick up and drop off, and kept me updated throughout the entire weekend with multiple updates and photos per day. Maggi LOVED staying with them (she was even a little sad to leave!). They kept Maggi active & engaged and took such great care of her. Could not have asked for a better experience!
Clara and Oscar were great with our dog, Fiona! They took her on tons of walks and sent lots of cute pics. We would love to leave Fiona with them again!

We'd like to know the general personality of your pet, particularly in dog-human and dog-dog interaction. It's also important for us to understand the expectations/limitations of your pet, what health concerns are known, and how well trained or untrained they are. We have no breed preferences - we love them all, big and small! That said, for dog boarding purposes, our apartment community unfortunately does not allow "aggressive" breeds.
A typical day
We are big fans of getting doggies outdoors, and we love to match the energy level of each individual dog. We would be happy to take dogs on a quiet walk or fun run around the neighborhood or on greater excursions like the park or beach. We are very active individuals, so we are able to walk, run, throw balls/frisbees, play soccer, and more.
