Pet care experience
*I am currently offering drop-in visits and walking appointments for new and existing clients. Due to COVID-19 I am not currently offering overnight visits.* Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Claire. I have a deep love for dogs, and have been sitting on Rover for almost four years now! I have extensive experience with animals, and I have worked with many different types of dogs - from bottle fed to seniors, from puppies that I can hold in one hand to dogs that are taller than me! I volunteer and foster with a local canine rescue and I’m very comfortable with all types and breeds of dogs. I am happy to make myself available to help, and I will travel 20 miles for any services, but will gladly travel farther with some notice. I am a social worker from 9 to 5 on weekdays, but this has some flexibility with notice, and I am entirely available on weekends! I will care for your dogs as if they are my own while you are away, and specialize my care to your wants and needs - you know your dog better than anyone else! I am happy to care for any other pets you may have as well, including cats, lizards, rabbits, and any other pals! I have had so many wonderful experiences through Rover and find great joy in forming lasting relationships with my clients, both with four legs and two! This was our first time every hiring a non family dog sitter and first time using the app so we were very weary. Claire was immediately warming and helpful. She came and met Loki twice before the stay and then stayed with him in our home.. things went magically. Our dog is a high energy rescue pit and requires a strict routine with exercise and she did everything as if we were home with no complaints! She kept us updated frequently and it really helped ease our minds knowing Loki was happy and safe. Loki loved Claire so much that after she left he truly missed her! I’m so happy we found Claire and will continue to utilize her services in the future. She’s a wonderful and sweet girl and has a deep rooted love for dogs so if you’re looking for someone you can trust with your fur family it’s Claire!!!
Claire was absolutely amazing with our two dogs and cat while we were away! She kept us updated multiple times each day with photos. We came home to a clean house and very happy furkids. She catered to each of their very different needs and drastically different personalities flawlessly. We will absolutely be requesting Claire anytime we leave town! Thank you so much again!
We were extremely happy with Claire taking care of our little Bowie. I’d give her 10 stars if possible! She communicated very well while she pet sat for a weekend at our home. She sent numerous pics daily and followed my instructions perfectly. Bowie loved her and all the attention she gave him. She kept me updated and informed on all their activities, which made us feel very secure. If you want someone you can trust, choose Claire as your next pet sitter!

I have no breed preferences or restrictions, but I do have a soft spot bully breeds! I would like to know if, and how well, your dog gets along with other dogs, and if they are on any medication!
A typical day
Your pup will enjoy lots of petting, playing, and exercise with me! I want to give your dog what you would give them if you were around, and could do everything you wanted to! I love going to dog parks if your dog gets along well with other pups, and I am very physically active so I would love to take them on a jog with me if they're up to it! Similarly, I have a lot of experience with elderly and special needs animals, and can gently exercise and play with your senior pups as well.

Availability
I work from 9-5 on weekdays as a social worker, but have a relatively flexible schedule and am happy to discuss arrangements for you and your pup! While I am sitting, I spend all of my time outside of work with my four-legged client and ensure that they are happy and healthy. I send at minimum three updates per day, and can make this more or less depending on your preferences.
