Raised with multiple dogs. Lives with two, one that is scared of other dogs and one that is scared of humans. I’m well equipped to walk a dog that can become agitated in the rain, when seeing another canine, or when a human gets a little too close. I do this by talking the dog down or by offering treats to teach good behavior like sitting until the perceived threat has passed. In the city it’s very important to be wary of cars that do not adhere to traffic laws. I always make sure to walk the pup very close to me with my body ahead of theirs as we cross the street in case anyone comes speeding down. If we are walking and your pup happens to pick up a stray object or piece of food off the street I am not scared of opening their mouth and retrieving the object.
