I am a third year vet student at the University of Minnesota. I focus on small animal medicine (dogs and cats). Throughout my 6 years of veterinary assisting experience I have became comfortable medicating dogs and cats and am certified in Fear Free Handling to make sure that your pets are comfortable with me. I also have extensive training working with senior dogs and am happy to provide them with any special care they may need. I’ve pet sat everything from bottle baby kittens to back yard flocks of chickens and can’t wait to meet your pets. I’m ready to help burn off some extra energy on a nice long walk espcisally while I’m actively working to explore the lakes and paths of the area.

Claire was awesome to work with and took great care of my dog - she even helped with the cat too while we were gone! The animals loved her and she gave us great peace of mind while we were gone. We'll definitely be asking for Claire's help in the future!
Claire was such a great and trustworthy pup sitter when I was away for a week and needed her to watch my fur baby. She updated me everyday and made sure to let me know of any major happenings while I was gone. Not to mention she left the house cleaner than I did! Will be contacting her again whenever I go out of town!

Before I take care of your pup I like to meet them and just make sure they know who I am. Otherwise no one knows your dog like you, so if there's anything you think I should know that'd be great. I have no preferences on breeds, and understand while breeds have specific potential issues each has while also knowing everydog is an individual.
A typical day
I enjoy walks around the neighborhood. If there is any park or special place near your house you'd recommend I'm happy to go check it out. I am also an avid tug-of-war player and an experienced frisbee thrower, so I'm ready for whatever Fido wants to play.
