Pet care experience
Caring for a pet is not only what I do! I'm also an alternate home for them! I strive to make every dog feel comfortable, happy and at home rather than an institutionalized feeling! We are avaliable virtually all day so your pup will never be unattended! Growing up I've had a wide range of pets including dogs for whom I cared for! In addition, I've cared for many different breeds and personality types through the 2 year I have been dog sitting. We understand that your pet needs to be treated individually because all pets have a different style and personality. So, if your pet stays with us we will be sure to treat them with the same love and compassion we treat out family with!
Reviews
Claire did a great job watching my dog Shawn over Thanksgiving. She sent pics & I would gladly have Claire watch Shawn in our home again!
Claire
Claire was great! She took great care of our Lola girl while we were travelling. She even washed the sheets before she left! (Totally unnecessary!) If you are nervous about leaving your fur kids with someone, rest assured that Claire will take excellent care of them. We will definitely use her again!
I feel so comfortable leaving our dogs in Claire and her family’s care. You just know they love what they do and are concerned about your pets well being.

Information Claire R. would like to know about your pet
I do have any breed preferences! I have cared for pitbulls, pomeranians and everything in between! Although when babysitting a dog knowing the personality, daily routine and temperament are most important things! Knowing the personality will help me tailor the activities we do and how to handle your dog best. The routine is vital, if I know the routine I can follow it as close as possible and make your dog feel as comfortable as i can while they are missing you! Lastly temperament, dogs are all different and all can become aggressive I want to know their triggers of aggression so we can avoid them! Dogs in a new environment without their family can feel defensive and annoyed so knowing their tolerance is crucial.
A typical day
If your dog stays with us they will participate in a variety of activities. Activities include fetch at the local park (enclosed area), or if your dog doesn't fetch a time for running and exploring the 20ft by 20ft enclosed are. In addition we take trips to petsmart (with parents permission) to get treats and toys. We will also stop for vanilla ice cream if your dog is allowed it on the way. Not only do we play games outside but we also try to stimulate your dog's mind through games! Our first game we will play is hide and treat. In this games I hide treats around the house and they seek them out its very much like our version of hide and seek but more fun for dogs! Other activities we partake in are puzzle toys and obidience training to keep your dog active and happy!
