Pet care experience
I’m a film student and writer who works at home and through Rover. From being on set and working 5 years in restaurants, retail stores and offices, I’ve become very aware of my surroundings and learned to work with different people and situations. I’ve grown up with my own dogs and tended to my friends dogs as well as clients for several years. I cared for breeds such as Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Australian Cattle x Greyhound, a Puerto Rican Sato, Border Collies, a Jack Russell Terrier, Pitbulls and many more. I currently have my own dog, a Husky (who is actually not like most Huskies) and is very laidback, sweet and easy going. She’s 4 and loves other dogs. I’m not just a dog lover but understand your dog is a part of your family and they will be treated as so. In every pet I care for I aim to prioritize their health, safety and happiness.

Very friendly and flexible with our time for pick up and drop off. Our dog had a good time I believe and with her.
Claire is great, we left our puppy girl with her for a week and got her back happy and healthy. she is caring, give them exercise and make sure they are happy. She send us pictures everyday and update us on how our little puppy is doing. She is very accommodating with drop off and pick up time. We definitely recommend her.
Claire is as wonderful as all the reviews say. So good with our pup, who is sometimes a ball of energy. Will use her services any time I need them.
Claire was really great and very understanding! My dog loved her and he was always tired after coming home!

I cook for my dog (and your dog(s) if that’s something you do or you’d like). I brush the pets I care for (I do not however clip nails but can happily take your pup somewhere to do so). I provide them with dental health treats (with consent) and care for each ones unique personality and lifestyle. I am also very careful in my clients homes and love sending pictures, videos, and updating you as necessary so we can build a level of trust.

Information Claire P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about their habits or things they may do if they get anxious. Your dog won’t be familiar to me right away so it’s normal for them to show habits you may not be used to, but if there’s things that have rarely happened- it could happen with me so don’t be afraid to let me know. Please also let me know how your pup acts with other dogs, unfortunately I cannot separate mine from yours in my apartment for longer than a couple hours but I will definitely watch them carefully if toys or treats are involved and can walk them separately, do separate car rides, separate them for short periods of time to play & to receive treats if need be.
A typical day
Right by my apartment is a big park that I take my dog (and cared for pets to) three times a day. Theres lots of greenery and hills to sniff, it’s also a neighborhood park so not a lot of people or dogs are there. I love taking dogs to the beach too to play in the sand and for walks around my neighborhood. My pup LOVES car rides and so I take her for one at least 1-2 times a day. If your pup is the same I will do it for them as well (and can do it separately from mine). Lastly, if your pup(s) has flee & tick prevention and is good with other dogs, (with consent) I love going to my local dog park.

Availability
I work from home part time and make my own schedule so I have lots of time to play with your pup, give them attention, and reschedule my own work if need be. I go for runs, and long walks throughout the day besides their potty breaks. If I go for a hike, the beach, park, etc, I’ll bring my pup (and yours with consent).
