I am currently attending UCSC and miss my dogs from home dearly. Back home, I have volunteered at shelters and dog and cat-sit all of the time for friends and family. The picture of the polaroids on my profile is some of the dogs I have watched thus far through Rover! I raised 10 healthy and happy golden retriever puppies (also pictured) when I was a kid which really grew my love for dogs and animals in general. I am attentive and grew up taking care of 40+ animals at a time as a kid, including 12 dogs (10 golden puppies, their mom, and my old sheltie), a horse, snakes, tortoises, rabbits, cats, and birds. It was a very busy household but I loved the responsibility and took good care of all of my furry (and scaly) friends. I have experience watching all sizes and ages, from puppies to seniors, 10lbs to 120lbs. I love all dogs and have owned a Westie, Sheltie, and a lot of Golden Retrievers so I have had all different sizes of pups myself. I also fostered an Australian Shepherd that my father helped rescue. My first pet was my Sheltie, Nellie, and she was by my side for my first 15 years. My best bud of 10 years, Bear, (the golden retriever in a lot of my pictures) is at my family’s home in Southern California while I am away for school and I miss him tons so I signed up for this app to get some puppy love while I am away from him during the school year! I know first hand how important 4-legged family members are and how hard it can be to trust someone else to treat them with the same love you do. I assure you that they will get the best and only the best while they are in my care! Outside of being a dog/animal lover, I am student-athlete and play volleyball for UC Santa Cruz and also coach volleyball for a local Club. I am punctual, hardworking, and can’t wait to show your pet some love!!!
