Pet care experience
Animals have always been a passion of mine- a type of therapy that can instantly make my day better just by being in their presence. My mom taught me from an early age how to treat animals with kindness and respect, and not as a possession, but as part of the family. She was an animal control officer and with that came the opportunity for my family to foster and adopt animals from the shelter. I have also fostered dogs through the Halo organization, seeing them through to their adoptions, and have pet-sat for friends, family, neighbors, and now pet owners through Rover. I also occasionally volunteer at the Front Street Animal Shelter as well as help take care of a feral cat colony, which is all pretty rewarding!

I don’t have any breed preferences or restrictions. Before sitting a dog, I would like to know if the dog requires any medication (and how it's administered), if there are any behavioral tendencies I should know about (if the dog doesn't do well around kids or other dogs, food aggression, etc.), any restrictions (not allowed on furniture, only so many treats per day, etc.) and when and how often the owners would like me to be there throughout the day.
A typical day
My pet-sitting style is very flexible and will cater to you and your dogs' needs. It may range from one visit (for a walk, potty break, or meal time), multiple visits throughout the day, or even overnight stays in your home where your pet will feel most comfortable. My main objective is to allow you, the owners, a peace of mind while you are away from home, and to know that your pet(s) will be spoiled and given the individual attention they deserve :)
