Hi there! I'm Claire and I absolutely LOVE animals of all shapes and sizes. I am totally comfortable with animals of all kinds. I grew up with 2 dogs at home, (one of which was a three-legged doggo so have experience with special-needs pups) and have done a lot of short-term and long-term dog sitting for friends. I also had a stint farm-sitting overseas, where I was responsible for 100+ animals (dogs, cats, pigs, llamas, horses, chickens, possums). I am a very active individual, so will be able to keep a high energy dog busy and entertained, but am also happy to have a low-key hangout with your pup/cat at home if that's what they prefer. I can guarantee that I will provide a fun loving environment for your furry pal, they will receive endless attention from me. I have a car in case of emergencies as well. Clairey, lived with my husband and I for 6 months while in Australia. She's was a extremely respectful, tidy, kind, trustworthy, fun housemate who has turned into one of our best friends. On a number of occasions after moving out she would look after our little jack Russell River. She loved river like she was her own. She walked her, took to the beach, made sure she was fed, cuddled her and gave her so much tlc. I cannot say a bad word about her. She loves all animals especially her love her dogs. Claire is responsible & reliable & has always been a dog lover. She’s has taken care of our 2 dogs many times both during the day and for overnights. She’s an avid outdoors woman and takes the dogs hiking and/or running and enjoys snuggle time when indoors. I would recommend her for anyone wanting a loving care giver while away.
We live in Australia and when Claire was living here in 2019 she looked after our dog Dusty, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, many times. She had him stay at her place and she has also come by for home visits and dog walks. Claire was incredibly reliable and flexible when it came to dog sitting and dog walking and Dusty absolutely loved her, he would always get so excited to see her. She would take him to the beach and she gave him so much attention, she's a dog lover through and through! We were very sad to see Claire leave Australia - Dusty misses her and so do we!

I love to go on hikes, long leisurely walks around the neighbourhood, have playtime in the house with toys, cuddles on the couch, whatever your pet loves to do :)

Availability
I am currently working full-time, Monday to Friday 8-4 at a vineyard, so your cat will be home alone during the day. I am always home in the mornings and evenings to spend time with them.
