There has always been a dog in my home, and know what it takes to be a great caretaker. Dogs need attention, exercise, and constant love, and that's easier said than done. Dogs are a lot of work, but they are the greatest companion. I am so comfortable around dogs, and feel that I have a very special bond with the animal. I absolutely subscribe to the label "dog person" as well as firmly believe in the motto "life is better with a dog." Being a college student, it's not realistic for me to have a dog. I understand the amount of care and time they need, and my busy class schedule can keep me away from home for hours at a time. That said, I still I still love interacting with dogs, and I will be a great dog-walker because of my experience, but also because I need the dogs just as much as they need me. One of the perks of being a college student, are my flexible hours. Right now my hours vary during the week, but come summertime I will have a open schedule to be filled with dog-walking! I love to walk long distances and on different terrains. One of my favorite things about walking dogs is the exploration aspect. I make sure to vary the locations of our walks so the pups can experience new sights and smells!
