I've always had at least one dog growing up. Ever since moving to Cape Cod, I've been unable to care for a dog myself (due to winter rental leases), but I absolutely adore all dogs and puppies. I have a long history of caring for dogs, walking dogs, dog sitting, and I've even helped a few friends and coworkers on Cape when they needed someone last minute. I love playing with dogs and I promise you that I will not ignore your dog! I have also volunteered at the MSPCA, and I have many years of experience of dog walking and dog sitting. Growing up, I had medium sized dogs and "giant" dogs (110 pounds), so I am able to care for dogs of all sizes.

Claire took great care of my senior pup! He is special needs and she was able to manage his care successfully. He was happy as happy and healthy as a clam when I returned! She was a great communicator and very flexible with a last minute shift in plans. I will definitely be working with Claire again, she eased my anxiety knowing he was in good hands!

I would like to know how large they are, their general personality, anything I should avoid that might trigger an unwanted behavior (for example: I could never step over one of my childhood dogs, because she was a rescue and had been abused), any tips!! I love large breeds and mutts, and am completely comfortable around bigger dogs.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog(s) to trails, dog parks if given permission, and loops around the neighborhood. I will also play with your dog inside your house, playing fetch, tug of war, or just run around with your dog outside! What we do totally depends on your preferences as well!

I’m a teacher working remotely, and my schedule is flexible! I am available throughout the day except for 1-2 hour periods of time. I wake up early so early morning check ins or walks are no problem.
