Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of my dog Brooke and my cat Zelda since I was little. My dog is my best friend and an irreplaceable companion. My love for the outdoors makes our adventures so much fun together! We love going on long hikes (rain or shine) or just walks around the neighborhood. My dog is small, but I’ve walked much bigger dogs up to 100 pounds. I like to meet all sorts of animals!

I care for my pets just as I would a family member or friend. I like to make sure they have all of their needs met with food, water, and bathroom habits so they’re able to enjoy playing freely. I also try to make sure that my pets are comfortable by ensuring they have toys they like, a place to lay down, and an environment without possibly dangerous foods or objects.

A typical day
Depending on the dog, I will adjust the play time accordingly. Usually I take a more energetic dog on a 3-4 mile walk, weather permitting. I don’t mind walking them in the rain, but if it’s too hot I shorten walks significantly or choose to throw a ball around instead. My dog loves going on walks, but rarely wants to play with toys in park, so we just walk around off leash sometimes and she enjoys it!

Availability
I am a Freshman at Montana State in Bozeman. I have classes most days from 9-3, except Tuesdays and Thursdays. On those days I can walk dogs throughout the day at almost any time. I am open to multiple walks a day or drop-ins to check on animals while the owners are at work.
