Pet care experience
Years ago I was the five year-old checking out dog books from the local public library. From then until I moved away from home, I always had (and took care of) a dog (first a Cavvy and then a Labradoodle). Now, I'm the sad girl who goes to the farmers' market to pet strangers' dogs, so I can get my weekly fill of puppy love. I routinely watch my parents' dog for up to a month at a time and we have a blast at the dog park, learning how to shake, and snuggling on the couch. I'm extremely clean, responsible and trustworthy, and on top of giving your pup all the attention (s)he deserves, I would treat your home as if it were my own, leaving it exactly as I found it. I have my own kitty; her name is Nali. She’s 2 and is the light of my life. I would love to care for your cat, too.

Very responsive for a last minute visit
Claire did an amazing job with our two geriatric kitties who needed medication twice a day on schedule, special food and observation. Communication was excellent. The kitties trusted her. We hope to hire her again!
Shared cute pics of my cat during the drop in and did everything I asked!! Allowed me to have piece of mind while I was out of town!
Claire was great with our elderly dog Bailey! Very responsible and friendly. Bailey ran to the door happily to see her. Claire was great with communication as well. We will definitely be using her again as we feel like she’s a part of our lil family now!

I cannot board animals in my home due to building policy but I will happily watch your pet in yours, water your plants and leave the place cleaner than I found it (my mother taught me well).

I’ve worked with dogs who have been abused and feel comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, but the more information you can tell me about your pup, the better I can anticipate his/her needs and care for them.
A typical day
Every dog is unique. Therefore, the activities your dog and I will do together will completely depend on what is healthy for him or her. However, as a very active person, I am open to any (or all) of the following activities: long walks 3x/day, daily 45-minute runs, daily, 1-hr dog park visits, hikes on the weekend, all with play and snuggle time in between, while I study at your home (I’m a med student so the studying never ends)!

I’m a student with a flexible schedule and more than happy to work around yours! Morning, lunch breaks, afternoon and evening walks are the norm.
