Pet care experience
Hello There! My name is Claire. I am an attorney by trade a pet sitter in my spare time. I have a hybrid remote work schedule and would love to assist you with your pet care needs. I have over two decades of looking after and caring for animals. Besides house sitting and petting sitting for dozens people over the years, I grew up caring for horses, dogs, cats and birds at our family barn. I have looked after senior dogs as well as dogs with special needs including medications. I have my own dog, Baloo, who is a mellow 10 year old Olde English Bulldog. I would be happy to look after your beloved family member, giving them love and attention and making sure that they are well cared for. Since I love spending time outside, I would be thrilled to take your dog on walks or runs. Let me know what I can do for you and your furry friend!

Claire is amazing! She house sat for us for a week and cared for our two dogs, one of which is diabetic. She kept in contact with us while we were away and sent us pictures of the dogs. You can tell that she truly loves dogs and treats your pets as her own. We will definitely use Claire again!
Claire did an amazing job with my to Pits. She wasn't afraid of walking them both at the same time. She paid very close attention to them and even gave me a call when they seemed overheated. I would trust Claire in my home again. This was my 1st time using Rover and if all the other Dog walkers are even slightly similar to claire this is an awesome site! and very helpful.
I have used Claire on several occasions to house set and care for my three dogs and one cat. She is always loving and caring with the animals. My dogs adore her. She is responsible and conscientious, and I always know my pets are in good hands with her.

I am accustomed to walking large dogs (my own dog weighs 65lbs) and am able to handle a dog that pulls. My home is safe and accommodating for pet boarding, equipped with a small backyard and accessible walking paths. If I stay in your home, I am very clean and organized and would treat your home as I would my own!

I do not have any breed preferences, I love all dogs! I would like to know if your dog gets along well with other dogs and if they enjoy walks and/or runs. I would like to know habits and likes of your dog so I can be sure to make them as happy and comfortable as possible while you're away.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and runs. I am happy to take dogs to the dog park. If your dog does not enjoy these sorts of activities, I am always happy to curl up on the couch with a movie and a belly rub.

I work as an attorney and have a hybrid remote work schedule. Working from home provides me with the flexibility to walk your dog during the day or to be at home all day with your pet while you are out of town. Please see my availability for more information.
