Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Claire and I am a physical therapist! During my 3 years of PT school, I would spend most afternoons and weekends doing dog walks or checking in on clients’ cats through Rover. I loved it so much that I’ve decided to keep it going here in San Diego! Back in June, my husband and I decided to get our first puppy and she has been the best gift we could have ever received. Her name is Remy and she is currently 9 months old - she has been my BFF since day 1! Our favorite San Diego spots are Coronado Dog Beach, SouthBark Dog Wash, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Balboa Park 😊

Claire was the sweetest! Super friendly and made me feel comfortable about leaving my dog with a stranger. She not only took care of him the way we asked her to but went beyond that. She took him for so many walks and made sure he had lots of play time, she sent lots of pics and updates as well. I’ll definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter and will use her again in the future.
We love Claire and so do the dogs! We give her a 10 or more! She loved only dogs and sends lots of pics!

Claire is a ray of sunshine! I absolutely love having her watch my cat Theo because he seems 8x happier every time I pick him up, I swear he would rather live with her. Please let me know of any specific behaviors or medical conditions beforehand, as well as any routines that your dog may be used to when meeting a new person, exiting their crate/safe space, and how they are in home vs outdoor/walking environments. I want to make sure your dog has the best time possible and is also as safe as possible in my care, so the more information you can give me the better! :)
A typical day
I’d be more than happy to take your dog along to a local dog beach, dog park, hike, or scenic walk at Mission Bay! But I also am always up for playing tug of war, fetch, or taking a neighborhood stroll. You let me know what you are comfortable with and we will make it happen!

Availability
I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays for dog walks, as well as most weekends! If your dog likes other dogs, I’d love to bring Remy along for some social walking or play!
