Pet care experience
Aside from taking care of my own pets since I have lived alone, every summer, spare weekend, or free weekday I have had since I’ve moved to Charlotte I have dedicated to being a caretaker of every and all four-legged creatures. Charlotte is a diverse city, both in terms of its population and of the various breeds of pets that reside here. I have been fortunate enough to care for pets ranging from Great Pyrenees to French bulldogs, and from 20-year-old chihuahuas who are eligible for AARP to fresh-faced puppies that have enough energy to power a factory. I highly enjoy taking care of these dogs' and cats’ health and safety, but also in doing much more by providing them with company, ‘round-the-clock care, and kindness. Dogs and cats are people too, and need to be treated with such respect - a philosophy that I carry through in every interaction I am lucky enough to have with these wonderful creatures.

We were nervous to leave our cat who is difficult to medicate but Claire was patient, kind, and determined. She helped him to get the care he needs while we were away. She followed all the instructions (many!) to a T and helped give us peace of mind. We will definitely rely on Claire for our cats' care again.
I was nervous about leaving my pets (one cat and one very sensitive dog) alone for 2 weeks, but Claire kept my mind at ease. I received updates and photos and when I returned home, my pets were just as content as when I left. That's a great sign and I will definitely request her services again. In fact, I already have!
Claire was wonderful! She was very detailed in her Rover report and put us at ease while we were out of town for the weekend. We would absolutely rebook with her in the future :)
Kind, patient, and flexible. Made sure my cat got the medicine he needs while we were out of town which was a huge relief for me.

I love to be outside and enjoy different parts of nature, so walking in parks such as Freedom Park and Little Sugar Creek Greenway or finding specific dog parks to play in would be my ideal places to go for some walking and fun activities.

I am currently working remotely, so I can easily go visit/walk/feed your pet, as well as sit with them all day so they can have company!
