I am a student at Virginia Tech home for the summer and excited to meet new pets! I stay active daily and would love a dog to keep me company on daily walks!

I have a fenced in backyard and no other pets in my house. I usually fall in love with all of the pets I see so you definetely won't have to worry about your pet leaving my attention while with me.

It's important for me to know a dogs food schedule and if they have any treats. I also like to know how dogs are with strangers so I can act according if strangers ask to pet the dog on walks.
A typical day
I am super active and try to walk every day so If I'm watching a dog who also likes walks it's very easy for me to make sure they stay active. I like to walk in scenic areas such as parks, nature trails, or next to water. I also love playing around! Fetch or other games are very fun to enjoy with dogs.

Pet care experience
I've had pets my whole life, I can't remember a time when I wasn't taking care of the cat or spending time with my dogs. I've been an animal lover my whole life and I still am! Since I'm a student I'm not ready to fully commit to adopting a pet yet but I'd absolutely love to watch yours!!

Claire has a heart for pets! I have know her for almost 20 years and consider her an animal whisperer! She has a way of making pets feel an immense calmness around her it’s incredible! This matched with a character that is loyal and emotions that are controlled, I have always felt my pets are good in her hands.
Claire has been in my experience the best caregiver I have asked for. She always makes sure my dog has water and food and plenty of treats when she’s done walking her❤️
