Professional Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
Every animal MUST have a collar with a phone number on it in order to board at my house. I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and I am currently working as a professional dog trainer. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs, as well as special needs dogs. I am usually away from 3-11 but I’m willing to work around my work schedule for drop offs and pickups. I can adjust as needed for special needs dogs or young puppies. I have a fenced yard for dogs to play in. All dogs are always supervised in the back yard, and inside during the day so there’s no chances of dogs getting loose. For dog walking, I do offer to do training sessions during the walk (hence why my prices are higher). If your dog has issues with pulling on-leash, this is definitely something I can work on!

I train and play with my own dogs daily, but just for safety reasons I do not allow client dogs to play with my own dogs. However, your dog will get individual playtime/sibling playtime, and I will maintain any manners/training by request. (Ex. Huck has to sit by the door before he can go out)

Please let me know if your dog is intact and if your dog has worms, ticks, or other health issues. Also be mindful of what issues your dog may have. Reactivity and aggression is no problem to me, but I would like to know so I can handle the dog accordingly.
A typical day
As a dog trainer, I try to make sure each dog’s needs are met both physically and mentally. Couch potato chihuahua? No problem! Ants-in-your-pants German shepherd? Let’s go on a run! I try my best to make sure all dogs in my home are happy and healthy.

Availability
I tend to wake up early, so each dog has their own outdoor time. Outdoor time is limited during the winter, and always supervised. Under 40 degrees, no dogs are out longer than potty/play requirements. Above 90 degrees, dogs only go outside to potty and play. I work about 5 minutes from my house, usually only 4 hour shifts, so dogs are never alone for too long.
