I have been working as a petsitter for years, caring for animals from rabbits, to cats, to dogs. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from 10lb. dachshunds to 170lb. mastiffs. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing with or hanging out with your pet, whatever you need! I am an experienced petsitter who will treat your pets like my own. I have extensive experience with senior dogs (in my profile photo is my family's 12 year old leonberger), as well as pets with medical needs (my dachshund mutt has epilepsy, previous family pets have had heart conditions). When contacting me, please specify the time/frequency of visits or walks, and the number/type of animals. Current Availability: Weekends Anytime I work during business hours so am currently only available on weekends and some holidays. I'm happy to drop in/walk your pup while you're out for the day or working. About Me: I am a young professional with a background in nature education and botany. I currently work in administration at a biotech company. I love taking my dachshund mix, Peggy, to Willowdale State Forest for walks, or hanging at home knitting and watching Netflix.

Claire was fantastic! She spent several days with our elderly dog, who can be tricky since he’s getting delicate in his old age. Her communication was great with multiple updates a day, including pictures. Thor was well cared for and happy when we got home. Thank you!
Claire was great and I would highly recommend her! We just started using Rover, and Claire made us very comfortable with everything, stopping by a few days in advance to get to know Zoey and go over things with us. She even brought her dog over during the stay so Zoey had a friend to play with - the pic updates also made us feel super comfortable while we were away. Claire is definitely someone I would use again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else.
Claire was great! She was on top of things from the first communication through the end of her dog sitting stay. My dog needed some unexpected extra attention and medical care, and she handled it like it was nothing. I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to anyone.
Highly recommend Claire! We were new to using Rover. We had just moved to the area and lost all of our pet sitters so we decided to give it a try. Even though Rover seems mostly geared toward dogs, in this case we just needed a cat sitter. Claire came to our rescue and immediately offered a meet and greet. She took care of our babies and was in daily communication. Claire even went above and beyond and came during bad weather then made another separate trip to bring keys back. We will definitely use her again! Thank you.

I take safety very seriously. I will always ensure your pet cannot get out the door when I enter and exit. If we are walking after dark, I wear a reflective vest for visibility. I do not allow pets I'm walking to greet other dogs for safety.

Availability
I work weekdays 9-5, so am available for pet care only on weekends. I will spend the entire walk focused on your pup. Because my weekends are open I am very flexible with timing.
