My name is Claire, and I've lived with a whole menagerie of animals for most of my life. My family and I have fostered numerous dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments, and so my background gives me the experiences for even the neediest or pickiest dog. I live a active mountain lifestyle and want to introduce to your dog to as much of this lifestyle as they want! While you’re on the slopes or enjoying some apres activity your dog will be getting some adventures of their own, a nice walk through the mammoth trails, a ball throw in Shady Rest, or even just a stroll through your local neighborhood in Mammoth! I’m quite familiar with the places that are appropriate and in appropriate for dogs (and whether or not there could be other dogs around), and proper protocols for cleaning up and managing dogs! If you have more laid back, sleepy and chill dog; I love cozying up and just enjoying the presence of them as well; the dog sets the pace! I am also a lover of cats, and while I don’t expect too many people to need cat care specifically; I am well acquainted with the kitty friends as well. The first cat I had at age six, Zipper, was a extremely friendly and tolerant cat who put up with my childhood antics and the cat I had as a teenager, Buttons, would run and hide so well in the presence of a new person in the house. Understanding and respecting the needs of both is good for you and your furry friend!
