We were highly disappointed with Claire. We booked her for house sitting based off of previous reviews and during the meet and greet we agreed that her staying every other night would be fine, but outlined what time the last outing of the night would be and when the first outing would be the next day. We also reviewed that the nights she didn't stay, we would like for her to hang out so our youngest dog was not locked in her crate all day. Unfortunately none of this happened. The very first day, Claire was late arriving. We know she was at a funeral but told us she would be there by 3pm. We thankfully were able to get a neighbor to let the dogs out. Claire did stay that night but did not arrive until 6:30. The remaining days, she only showed up three times a day and stayed less than 7 minutes at a time. our youngest dog was locked in her crate for 23.5 hours a day. She was not given toys in her crate and shredded her blankets out of complete boredom. The final straw, was us seeing that someone who was not Claire came over alone to care for the dogs. This was never cleared by us. We know things come up, but there was absolutely NO communication form Claire. We had to reach out the first day to see where she was, and we had to check in with her to get any updates. When asked about it we were told we must have had different expectations. I'm sorry, but house sitting means you stay at the house. I don't know how there could have been different expectations. And do NOT tell me my dogs were well cared for when prisoners in solitary confinement at max security prisons are let out of their cells for longer than my dog was let out of her crate.

Claire was a great house sitter for us while we were away. We have 3 dogs and this is the first time we've not boarded them. We had a meet and greet prior to her service and decided she would be excellent for our situation. We would use Claire again for our pups.
