Pet care experience
We have been dog lovers our whole lives and can't think of a better way to make new [dog] friends for our pup, Beau. Beau is a rescue from San Diego (born Feb 2020), and absolutely loves other dogs. He would love a companion to play and go on adventures with! My fiancé Kyle and I recently moved to Bend from Seattle, so we’re excited to take the pups to explore our new backyard! While we love the outdoors, we also love a good snuggle at home on the couch. Beau spends most of his time finding sticks and chasing squirrels, or just laying in the house with us while we’re working. We look forward to meeting you & your pup. Claire was a wonderful sitter for our dog Cora. Cora very much enjoyed going there every morning during our stay in Sunriver and loved hanging out with their dog Beaux. I would highly recommend Claire for any dog sitting and hope to bring Cora to her again in the future.
Claire was wonderful with our little shih-tzu! Lots of pictures of walks, play time, cuddles and cozy naps. We will trust her anytime to take care of our sweet fur baby!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavioral tendencies I should keep an eye out for. Are they ok eating their food around other dogs? Do they need more frequent potty breaks? Leash behavior? We can review these during a meet and greet as needed.
A typical day
We love to explore the local trails and paths around Bend, take the pups on a morning coffee run, or to the mountains! We’re still learning about Bend and we’re excited to have a few pups join us as we set out on our new adventures!

Availability
Kyle and I work from home full time. Beau likes his crate when we’re not home, and while we prefer to host pups with a crate to snuggle up in when we leave the house, happy to talk through other options if this is not possible. We prefer drop off and pick up before 8am or after 5pm, Mon-Fri, but can be flexible with advanced notice! Drop off and pick up more flexible on weekends.
