Hi, all! I'm a rising junior at Florida State University studying Public Relations, and just got home to spend the summer with my family in this gorgeous hometown of mine. I absolutely adore animals, and since I'm hoping to make a little extra saving money this summer, I thought this would be the perfect thing to occupy my free time while not in classes or working. I have been around animals of a great variety my entire life, from riding horses while growing up, to owning cats, dogs, hermit crabs, fish, and even a tortoise. While my family has owned animals since I was born, I didn't really start participating in their care until I was about 8 years old. I love caring for animals as I find the bond you get the chance to create super special. Currently my family owns a farm dog that we adopted from Georgia (a Lab, Vizsla mix) as well as a cat that we rescued. While at school in Tallahassee I also help one of my best friends look after his precious Cur mix while he's at work. This typically entails keeping her company, taking her out and about so she isn't in the house all day, and also getting her active with walks and play time.
