Pet care experience
Hello there! I have been in Richmond for almost two years and have lived in Virginia for my whole life. I have years of personal and professional care with senior dogs and administering medicine- both orally and intravenously. I also have experience with dogs with behavioral issues.

Claire was available to help out when a prior walker cancelled last minute and it turned out to be a happy accident! Claire has been walking my dog 3 times per week for months now. She’s respectful of my home, takes good care of my dog, is open to the training tricks and commands we use, and communicates well. Thank you, Claire!
Claire has been great with Bowie, gives good updates on Rover Cards, and is friendly and accommodating of our needs. So happy to have found her!

I unfortunately cannot board due to a feisty cat but I am great for sitting because I am a homebody myself and love keeping pets company! During walks I always keep an eye out for anything that may trigger the dog or anything it will want to chase.

I am very flexible with special needs and high maintenance dogs but please let me know ahead of the booking! I had a dog with diabetes growing up and we all had to learn how to administer insulin as a family, so no fear of needles over here! I love an energetic pup just as much as the next person but their claws can be painful on my bare skin as I am often wearing shorts in the summer so if they are a jumper please let me know so I can dress appropriately :)
A typical day
I am an outdoors girl so if I’m able I love taking dogs to parks and trails so we can explore together :) I especially like to go near the water so we can cool off on hot days

Availability
I work at a coffee shop early in the mornings and am usually free after 12. Fridays and Saturday’s I’m free so I’m good for weekend sittings!
