Dog Trainer; I work from home

Pet care experience

Who better to watch your fur babies than a professional? Lots of people love dogs, but how many of them have 20 years of experience training, caring for, and/or boarding dogs? I offer complete peace of mind and a true vacation for your dog! With a fully fenced-in yard, and very sweet dogs who love when other dogs come to play, your dog (or dogs) will have a great time with me! Have a dog that doesn't always listen, or has annoying habits? I can add some training sessions with your dog during his/her stay. I use 100% positive reinforcement techniques, and use a variety of praise, treats, as well as tactile (rub downs, ear scratching). If your dog is under-socialized, I can help out there as well. On hot days I'll fill up a baby pool and give the dogs frozen treats. In the winter, they can relax by the fire. I work from home, so I am typically home during the day. If I need to run out, it's usually not for long. There's not much difference in weekdays or weekends for me. I have a fully fenced in yard, and can safely tether any "Hudini's" that like to run free. Dogs are free to go in and out several times a day.

CJ has been great for me and my puppy. She's been very helpful in being flexible with my ever changing work schedule and gives me great peace of mind that reuben is taken care of and having a blast while I'm away. He now knows when we're turning on her road and gets so excited and can't get in the house fast enough to play with her dogs.

CJ provided a great environment for Josie while we traveled. She has two dogs of her own that are very friendly and welcomed our dog. They have a fenced backyard where the dogs could roam and play. CJ only uses crates for feeding and if requested, so we appreciated that our dog wasn't forced into a crate to sleep or throughout the day. CJ was super flexible in us stopping by to check things out / do initial meet. We also returned a day early, but later in the evening. We contacted her and she was fine with us coming by unexpected and somewhat late (almost 10). She sent us updates daily, including photos, which helped us relax a little while we were away, knowing that Josie was in good hands. We we very happy with CJ and definitely will use her again in the future.

We have started using CJ to socialize our 12 week old puppy and get her used to not being around us (esp since we are home ALL the time due to COVID season). We were nervous (our puppy is timid) but CJ sent us multiple pics/updates during the day, especially when she was interacting well with other pups and resting well. We were pleased to bring home a tired and non-traumatized pup. We are going to continue to use her on a regular basis as a daycare and highly suggest her!

Are they current on vaccinations? Do they get along with other dogs? Are they okay with cats? Do they jump up on people? Have they ever bitten anyone before?

A typical day

Dogs can go outside as much as they want as long as they are not a constant barker. If they hunt moles, that's a plus! When they neighbors dog comes out, it's a group activity to run up and down the fence!
