Hello, my name is CJ Jacobson, I currently live in Eagle Mountian, Utah and I have been pet sitting animals for over 7 years. My whole life I have always been surrounded by pets, growing up we had a zoo of animals such as a Maltese who is now currently 13, and our families two cats ages who are now 8 and 15. I personally owned an assortment of different animals from hedgehogs, guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, frogs, and fish. Growing up an only child I have always had a strong passion and connection for caring and loving animals since I was young. I was always expected to walk, feed, and help take care of my family's animals growing up. When I finally became old enough at thirteen my parents would pay me to watch all of their animals when they had to go on business trips or to get away for the weekend. I really enjoyed being able to do that so eventually my parents from there were able to set me up with a handful of gigs watching and walking some of my extended family's dogs, I was soon deemed our 'family dog watcher' and from my families referrals, I was able to get jobs helping take care of their friend's animals too! I felt so honored so many people trusted me with their wonderful furbabies and decided to join Rover when I turned 18 and was starting college as I was unable to have a dog of my own for a long time from being so busy with school and thought this would be the next best thing. Currently, I am still going to college to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems, I was laid off from my main IT Help Desk Job in March as I was working for an event software company before the Covid-19 craziness hit. I now have my own furbaby whos a Bernese Mountain Dog named Moose I also currently live with my partner for two years who loves helping out with doing Rover and also has years of experience training and taking care of dogs. I have full availability right now on my hands because of this craziness and thought I would help out some individuals in the community who are in need of someone to walk or take care of their animals as this is simply what I love and enjoy doing. I have experience taking care of massive to mini-sized dogs, I have lots of experience with cats too and am happy to take care of them, if your family has some sort of animal that isn't a dog or a cat at the house I would also be happy to learn how you properly take care of them and assist with doing so. I will always provide you with photos/videos every time I am with your fur babies, because of my availability I have time to accommodate any needs regarding your dogs, cats, etc, need me to drop in three times a day? I gotcha. If I am house sitting I am also super comfortable with letting you FaceTime or Skype your animal(s) from my phone if preferred. Have any other questions that I could answer for my end?
