Pet care experience
As the daughter of a veterinarian, I come by a love for animals naturally. I grew up surrounded by and caring for a host of animals - dogs, cats, birds, lizards, fish, and an array of farm animals! We have a 14 year old grey tabby rescue cat. We had to say goodbye to our beloved 10 year old Pomeranian a few years ago. I am currently offering dog boarding services. My husband and I have enjoyed dog sitting for friends in the past and provided dog sitting services pre-Covid in our previous hometown. Now I would like to extend my services to others in the Lodi area. I love being outdoors either in our backyard or going to the park, and would be happy to have your fur baby join in the fun!

We left our little Lea in Cindy's care for 8 nights. Cindy's schedule was flexible for a few pre-stay visits to familiarize Lea for her upcoming stay and for my own peace-of-mind. Daily updates and pictures kept us apprised of Lea's adjustment in her new home. From descriptions of Lea's behavior we could tell that she was fully enjoying all the time, attention and belly rubs showered on her. We are so grateful to Cindy and her family for the great care and attention Lea received. The overall sign that Lea REALLY enjoyed her stay was her behavior once she returned home. She's a little quiet, maybe depressed, wondering what happened to all those fun-filled days. We will definitely contact Cindy again.
I highly recommend Cindy for dog sitting. She and her family took great care of our dog sending daily updates with pictures. She asks all the right questions to tailor her service to the needs of your pet and responds quickly to texts. We'll definitely be using her services again.
Cindy is a natural with animals - cannot echo that enough! She and her family are attentive and respectful of anxious dogs’ boundaries and helps make them feel at home. We appreciate the extra support during a more unplanned trip and all the extra pictures. :)
Cindy and her family were great with our Lila girl. She looked so happy being with them and felt comfortable right away. Cindy made sure to keep me up to date with everything and sent pictures the whole time. We will definitely book again with her!

I have a fenced back yard and live on a quiet side street without a lot of traffic - perfect for walks. Dogs are welcome to sit with us on the couch, and we kindly ask for them to sleep on their bed or in their crate at nighttime. I can easily provide a quiet space for a dog crate if needed. I can offer food (brought from their home) according to their normal schedule for consistency, and water will always be available. I have one tabby that is usually very shy around dogs, but sometimes comes out to greet repeat furry guests.

I would also like to know how your dog behaves around young children (as I have two young boys) and cats. I am happy to accept dogs who get along well with young children, are house trained, and preferably leash trained. I do require a meet-and-greet before booking a new client to make sure we are a good fit for your furry loved one.
A typical day
While your dog stays with us, they can enjoy activities such as playing in our backyard, going for walks around the neighborhood, having fun at a nearby park, and taking afternoon naps on the couch.
