Red rover red rover send Cindy right over! I am a dog lover who has been dog sitting for over 6 years now. I’ve taken care of a wide variety of dogs over the past few years. From little energy packed Jack Russell Terriers to goofy Newfoundland water dogs. Being able to take care of other's dogs/pets, and getting to know my regular clients has brought so much joy to my life! I’m located in Ballard, surrounded by great places for long walks and parks to play fetch. I enjoy all of the beautiful hiking the area has to offer and love to take a K9 buddy as hiking companion along for the trip. I do make trips up to the mountains to go rock climbing/hiking about once a month in the summer. I understand that leaving your pet (family member) behind can be a stressful experience for both you and your pet and I want to help alleviate as much of this stress as possible by ensuring that your pet will be loved and well taken care of while you're away! Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover my entire life. My family rescued our first dog when I was 12 and I have been in love with dogs ever since. It’s hard not to love those goofy faces when they’re smiling back at you with their tongues hanging out.

Cindy was an excellent sitter for our pup while we were out of town Christmas week. Communication throughout our business with her was excellent. She sent regular updates with some high quality photos of our dog smiling like he was on cloud 9 (I'm seriously about to turn one of her photos into my phone's background picture) and reassured us all along the way that he was having a great time. She took him to parks to play fetch and even went hiking! Her and her dog were fantastic company and caretaker for our dog and we couldn't be happier with our (and his) experience. I highly recommend Cindy and her adorable dog, Lola for taking care of and keeping your dog company while you're away.

Cindy did a fabulous job caring for Bauer. She sent us timely updates and great photos of their time together. Cindy was very responsive and Bauer was well cared for!

I do have a few questions for you folks just so I can get to know the pup a little better. Does he/she have any special needs like medication etc? Is the pup potty trained? If so what is the longest they’ve been home alone? Does he/she bark at strangers at the door or bark went left alone? High energy? Good with kids? Good with other dogs? Does the pup enjoy being taken to the dog park? Does the pup know how to play fetch? Or like to play in the water? Good off leash for hikes? I also find it super important to maintain a consistent set of house rules so if they aren’t allowed on the couch or furniture at home please let me know so I will also enforce that during their stay. The same goes about table scraps etc. I rarely give pups my table scraps but every once in a while if I can tell they’re homesick I’ll try to win them over with a little treat. Also what time did you folks have in mind for the drop off and pick up?
A typical day
Together your pup(s) and I will venture around the adorable and ever so charming Ballard neighborhood. We’ll make our way over to either Golden Gardens or Discovery Park for a long walk/runs. If your pup enjoys the company of another four legged friend I will also take em’ to either Ballard Dog Park or Marymoor Off Leash Dog Park to romp around with over furry buddies
