I have to say- I hate rover and have had nothing but terrible experience after terrible experience- until I met Cindy! She is perfect- the Mary Poppins of petsitting... a true gem! I have used a number of 5-star rover sitters who have been so bad that I feel my pups would have been better cared for if I had grabbed a random person from the bus stop up the street. The sitters have looked through my things, stolen things, used my makeup (yuck!), been hours late, have taken my puppy to their home without my consent, have brought their aggressive dog (& boyfriend) to my home where the dog tormented my pup, they've teased my puppy with food while telling whoever was on the phone that he was a little sh*t because he was looking at her & wanted attention... and I even had one sleep for 10hrs straight (during the day, mind you)... slept through pounding on the front door, my puppy barking, etc... I actually thought she had died- but unfortunately no... she was just slovenly. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and resorted to flying my mom out to watch my pups for several months at a time instead of trusting these horrible people with my home and precious puppies. But of course, the other day I found myself in a dire situation with no one to help with the pups, and I reluctantly returned to rover. I figured anyone was better than no one. I was so nervous that I slept only 3hrs the night before. I contacted Cindy the day before and she responded promptly, her friendly demeanor shining through her texts. As promised, she arrived 10mins early (at 5:45am!!!!!) to have time for me to show her around before leaving. She was so warm & had a great attitude (especially for it being so early!!), and my puppies loved her instantly! As I was showing her around (& telling her how great they were doing with potty training), the youngest peed on the carpet. :/ I grabbed the paper towels & nature's miracle but she grabbed it right out of my hands & said she'd take care of it. I felt like I was at a spa lol. I left with full confidence that the boys were in good hands- a feeling I have only when I leave them with my mom. I'm a little neurotic & have some specific requests like washing their feet & privates after returning from walks. She happily complied with all of my requests! It was pretty remarkable. She had asked what kind of updates I liked & told her just to let me know if there's an emergency (I've never had luck with any of the other sitters sending updates or photos even though all their reviewers apparently received them). Cindy actually sent me updates! All the questions that pop into my head throughout the day ("I wonder if they went potty? I wonder if they ate anything? I wonder if they're snuggling?") All my questions were answered no sooner than the thought popped into my head! Cindy would send cute pics or quick updates about all the relevant things. It was awesome!!!!! I came home after a ridiculously long day to find my happy puppies playing with Cindy. I'm not sure if I mentioned that I have cameras in my home but I can tell you that Cindy paid attention to my babies! She played with them and made them feel special. It's all I ever wanted but I can assure you, it's nearly impossible to find. But Cindy is the real deal!!!! Oh! It just occurred to me- "Cindy"... "Cinderella"... it's like I've been relentlessly searching with that darn glass slipper & finally- a perfect fit!!!!!!!

Cindy is an amazing caregiver. She goes the extra mile to assure the owner that their loving pet is taken care of by sending text and picture updates. She has a genuine love for animal care and has the expertise to back it up. Cindy made me feel that my dog was in great hands. I would definitely recommend her, if you want a stress free experience.
