Pet care experience
I have hands on experience with dogs of all sizes, all breeds, and almost all conditions. I have taken board certified classes in Hope's of gaining my Veterinary Technology Degree, I would like to further my education by specialize in Exotic Animal Medicine and Critical Care. I want to learn it all. I've already learn so much but I want to learn more. As of right now I just finished recoving from a shoulder injury that's taken 2 years to be able to fully use! During my recovery, it's set me back a lot more than I originally planned. My family has been supporting me financially so I haven't had the funds to continue college classes. Now that I'm recovered and dont have anymore surgeries to go through I'm ready to start work and make $$ while hopefully also building life long friends and family that can become my patients when I get RVT or CRVT certified. I really like to get to personally know the animal and get to meet face to face once or twice before the service is done. I've never had a negative experience with a animal but I've had a lot of stubborn headed animals that I got stuck with a couple times and couldn't get them inside! All I had to do was whipe their feet and they walked right inside.
A typical day
The first time I met with your furbaby, I want to stay close to its home territory and let them get comfortable and get to where I am confident I have control over them, for their own safety as well as others. Once that is done, and I feel it's safe to take them to a public place depending on where your located we will go to the dog park closest or the newest dog park. I will provide toys unless they have a favorite toy. Depending on the animal or doctors request we'd walk 15 to 40 mins, then play anywhere from 30-60 mins .
