Pet care experience
My name is Cindy and I'm a patient animal lover that will take care of your pets as if they were my own. I currently own two cats and have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter. I have a history of providing care for dogs, cats, chickens, rats, and goats. I connect well with high maintenance dogs and I am reliable and punctual. As a morning person, I am open to doing early morning walks and visits. I have a lot of experience with long walks in the cold and am not intimidated by them. I enjoy drawing animals and trying to capture their spirit/essence. I have a reliable car that works well in the cold.

This was the first time having a dog sitter. Rover made it easy to see all the people willing to sit for pets. We read all the bios and chose Cindy to watch our dogs. We made the right choice! She made us feel very confident that our dogs would be taken care of while we were gone. Our dogs seemed to really enjoy her. We will definitely call on her again.
Cindy did a great job watching our senior dog while we were away for four days. She arrived on time and kept us informed with daily updates and pictures, and she didn't hesitate to contact us when she had questions. She also did a great job keeping our home neat & clean, she retrieved the mail every day and even handled trash day. Our dog seemed very comfortable with her, and that's hard to come by as he has a nervous nature and doesn't like it when his family isn't around. I would definitely use her again.

My home is currently "catified" with a cat tree and multiple liter boxes. I spend a lot of time playing with my cats separately from each other to avoid any cat fights. When I volunteered at a shelter, I walked dogs to a designated fenced-in area for running and playing fetch.

I am not very experienced with dogs who have special needs, so I am unsure that I can accommodate certain dogs. If a dog is very high energy and needs to run every day, please let me know in advance. I am open to caring for all breeds.
A typical day
I enjoy keeping dogs stimulated. I like to play fetch, go on walks, and visit dog parks (if the dog is capable). When it comes to cat care, I think it's important to read when a cat is too stimulated and provide adequate play time.

I work a remote job that is a typical 9-5. My work day is typically not too busy, so it is easy for me to find time for pet care throughout the day or during evenings/weekends.
