Devoted Dog Lover

Pet care experience

My name is Cindy and I love animals, especially dogs and the outdoors and staying active. Feel free to contact me for giving your dog(s) safe exercise and love and attention in and around the area of Washington Crossing, PA. Dogs in my care will be mentally and physically stimulated by giving them attention, walks and light training. Your dog will be well fed, given fresh water, thoroughly walked twice per day and attentively looked after. If you live close to a dog park, I can take your dog(s) there for socialization. I provide multiple photo and general updates throughout each day of the stay to keep you connected with your dog while your away. I have experience with dog training, dogs needing special care and elderly as well. I have experience with herding and high energy dogs. All my clients have the opportunity to contact me at anytime on Rover for any questions about their furry loved ones. I have cared for handicapped dogs in the past.

Cindy was an absolutely amazing dog sitter for our senior dog who takes medications. My husband and I were traveling out of the country for 11 days and this was the first time we have ever left Joey with a sitter. We were both so worried but after meeting Cindy for the first time we knew right away Joey was going to be in great hands. Leading up to our trip, Cindy watched Joey a few hours here and there so they can get to know each other. When we left, he was so excited to go to Cindy’s house. Cindy was wonderful, kept us up to date, shared pictures and even downloaded zoom so we can see and talk to Joey. Joey looked so happy! When we picked him up, he looked great, he was well taken care of, smelled great and was just so happy to see us. This was my first experience with this app and a dog sitter and Cindy made this experience so positive! Thank you so much for taking care of our Joey as if he was your own!

As first time Rover users, Cindy was awesome with our pup and kept us up to date with all the fun they were having. We were thankful to have a nice weekend away knowing our baby was in great hands. Thank you!

Cindy was great with Sky. She was easy to work with and coordinate with and sent me lots of updates with pictures and videos. She took our pup on walks and tongue park and outside to play even pampered Sky with some yummy and healthy treats. Thank you Cindy!! I highly recommend Cindy for your dog sitting needs.

We will be together most of the time and for overnight stays, we will sleep in the same room. You can bring your crate if you use one for your doggie. Your dog will always be securely on leash when we are outside and never unattended. Two long walks each day at least, one in the morning and one after dinner but before bed, with shorter outside trips in between for potty breaks. Lots of fresh water, playtime and love.

Information Cindy C. would like to know about your pet

I do ask that dogs be vaccinated and all dogs absolutely must be on flea and tick prevention. and I recommend they be on Heartworm medication as well. Also, let me know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, socialized or has any behavioral issues like separation anxiety or special medical needs and I will try my best to accommodate them.

A typical day

I'm a typical day, we would walk around the neighborhood and visit closeby parks as well. You can bring your dogs toys and treats for training and I will certainly put them to use. I play a game called "Find it" using scent and use treats or kibble to reinforce basic commands. It's super fun for the dogs. On longer walks, one in morning and one at night, would typically last about 40- 60 minutes each. Others outings around the property for 15minutes throughout the day.
