A Doggie Vacation!

Pet care experience

For house sitting I will travel as much as 50 miles away and stay full time at your home. For dropins and walks I travel up to 8 miles to your home. Go on vacation or when you need a night out, be rest assured your fur babies will be well taken care of! Lots of play time, walks and going to the doggie park to meet new friends! I am a caring, compassionate person who loves all animals and would love the opportunity to care for your best friend. I LOVE animals and have raised and trained several dogs throughout my life. Whether you are going on vacation or you want to have a night out without the worry of being home at a certain time to walk the dog you can be sure your fur baby will get the best of care.

This was our first time using Cindy and we so appreciated the attention she gave our 2 new puppies! We wanted to go out for a few hrs and knowing Cindy was coming to take care of them put our minds at ease. We will definitely be using her again!

Information Cindy B. would like to know about your pet

When I take care of your dog I'll need to know your dog's feeding and walking schedule, how many treats are allowed per day, the physical condition of your dog, does he socialize well with other dogs and his temperment. I also will need vet information and instructions for any medications. I am a caring, loving individual and will respect you and your dogs habits, making every effort to comply with all requests.

A typical day

Dogs are social animals and they will miss you! I will take your dog for walks, to the park, to a doggie park, play with your dog and I can also help train your dog. I grew up on a farm and we always had lots of animals, dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens. My dad knew a great deal about how to handle animals in a loving, caring way. I grew up watching and learning from him. He taught me how to train dogs, how to become a pack leader -- get this -- when I was 5 years old, Toby our 100 lbs German Shepherd, was gentle and obedient. I remember having so much fun with him! I have had the opportunity to adopt 2 dogs as an adult. The first, Socha, a Spaniel/Poodle mix, 9 years old rescue. She needed a great deal of care when I first got her, she had been neglected. After a few months we were best of friends and she become very loving and trusting of others. Then came Eliot also a rescue, he was only 1 year old, a Terrier Mix and had been in 4 different homes! He was totally out of control -- we called him "Devil Dog" when we first got him. We literally could not leave him by himself for more than 2 minutes or he would destroy any and everything in site. This is when I learned how to successfully crate train. I always thought it was cruel -- what I didn't realize was how it totally calmed Eliot down and he actually loved his crate. Whether you need my services as a dog walker, a drop in, doggie day care or pet/housesitting you will find me very caring, patient, dependable and loving.
