IG: @Cillianosully I’ve always had a pup in my life! I grew up in Ireland with rough collies as part of our family and started learning how to train/handle dogs, since roughies are working breeds and require a lot of structure and stimulation! We had no sheep for them to chase so it was all down to us to keep them happy. That was a great start for me and my unofficial doggo degree. (I was going to say “dogree” but I stopped myself). I’m an actor and often my side gigs in Ireland were doggy daycare centers, dog sitting every now and again and lots of dog walking. A few years ago I moved to New York and got in to fostering pups… I took on all comers starting off with a very very abused and scared Rhodesian ridgeback called Mia. She required me to up my dogspertise greatly as she was very behavioral and I started hiring and communicating with as many dog trainers as I could and discussing methods to help Mia along with the owners of the rescue. This and fostering in general taught me an awful lot more about pups of all kinds. This is all to say I’m experienced handling all kinds of dogs in many different situations. I’m also an absolute expert at cuddling my/your/any dog and am a tug of war champion with a 50/50 record. I have a dog myself who I adopted along my fostering journey. An extremely sweet male Doberman called Neptune. When it comes to dog sitting any female dogs are fine even if they bite at him! But if a male dog of his size or larger gets in any way competitive he’ll do it right back. So big males aren’t an option for boarding. Small dogs boy or girl are totally fine even if they attack him!
