Pet care experience
I graduated from the veterinary technician program at Parkland College in Illinois in 2020. I moved to Nevada in the summer of 2021 and have a job as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Las Vegas. I know how to administer different medications, oral or injectable. I am capable of taking care of diabetic or other special needs animals. I know how to give baths and trim nails (for both dogs and cats). I know how to perform CPR. I have worked in the ICU at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Urbana, IL, so I do have experience in emergency situations. I have had experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, and fish. I feel like I have a lot to offer since I am in the veterinary field and have taken care of several pets in the past, including my own! I will love your pets as if they were my own and treat them with the utmost respect! I will be pet sitting in Henderson, Nevada and all surrounding areas! Cierra is THE BEST! She took the best care of Buddy and Lovie, and attended to the special requests I made. I do not have any breed or size preferences. I like to know what kind of toys they like, if they are treat motivated, how long their walks usually are and how many they need to go on per day, if they're allowed on furniture, if they're leash trained, and any other useful information that you can think of!
A typical day
I love to start out by walking around the neighborhood to get a feel for the area and then take them to a nearby park to go on walks or play fetch! If your dog is a senior or a dog that typically doesn't enjoy going on walks, I like taking them in your yard or even in the house to play with their favorite toys or give them all the love and attention they want!

Availability
My current schedule is a little wonky. Depending on the week will depend on what days I work. I am also in school currently so I am in out of the house a lot. Any animals needing constant care/attention, I will be unable to care for at the moment until my schedule settles down.
