Hey there and welcome to my page! My name is Ciera and I'm 26 years old. I'm originally from Southern California but I've made Seattle my home over the past 5 years while I've pursued a degree in fine arts. I am a responsible and genuine pet and house sitter with an eye for detail and attention for love, quality time and empathy when caring for all pets and homes. I value tuning into the behaviors and non-verbal signals of each pet and I offer a friendly and calm demeanor to provide a positive and fun experience for every furry, and even not so furry friend. I value safety and take great precautions for each pet, no matter the situation. I want your pets to have fun and thrive in my care. I understand the incredible value that each pet gives to their owner's life and I am happy to protect and take care of them. I offer dog walking services, in-residence pet sitting and check-ins as well as house sitting services. I am available for long and short term house sitting and I am happy to adapt and accommodate any special requests or needs I have owned a multitude of pets over the years including 2 lovely dogs, 2 yellow nape amazon parrots, and many different little amphibious creatures like frogs, lizards, and snakes. Have I mentioned I'm a Vegan yet? I try to live as sustainable of a life as I can as well to help the planet and the animals out! It's safe to say I absolutely love all animals but sweet furry best friends take the cake for me! I love taking care of dogs and I love the enthusiasm and warmth they give back! Since I've moved to Seattle, I've gained experience in taking care of client's pets and homes referred to me by mutual connections and through some good old networking. I have taken care of many pets ranging from cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles. I have maintained larger homes and smaller style apartments. I have taken on a range of responsibilities from daily plant watering schedules, doing small maintenance for the home. There aren't many tasks that are too big for me and I am happy to take care of your home and your lovely furry best friend's needs and wants. Inquire by sending me a message. Ciera was an angel. I have a challenging dog and he was very relaxed when we got home from our trip. The house was well taken care of too - I would definitely recommend her!
We had Ciera stay with our dog, two cockatiels, two chickens and our leopard gecko while we were on a road trip across the US. She was in regular contact with updates and treat and food replenishing needs. Any issues that arose she was on it and contacted us when necessary. In addition to her care for our pets and over-the-top love for our dog, she cared for my large collection of house plants and gardens. She’s responsible, kind and tidy. I would recommend her anytime...as long as we don’t need her 🤭☺️

For Sitting: - Nicknames/Other names pet may respond to - Favorite Toys - Usual Spots pets may hide, if any - Typical Behavior - Routines/Dog Lifestyle, such as usual walk times, potty times, dinner/snack time, etc. - Positive Triggers/Reactions, such as loves to get rewarded for pooping, being well mannered or loves a good belly rub/scratch on the butt, etc. - Negative Triggers/Reactions, such as barks loudly/is afraid of/gets overly rambunctious with other dogs, birds, squirrels, mailman etc. - Treats and food, where they're located, frequency and use (if applicable). - Food Allergies, if any. I carry organic treats with me, but if you have a treat that your pup loves and does well with, I'm happy to accomodate. - How they are on/off leash. For Walks: - Nicknames/Other names pet may respond to - Typical Behavior on a leash - Best way to grab attention in a stressful environment - Positive and Negative Triggers/Reactions - Any commands and gesture/signals used - Dog's favorite spots to walk to/pee at Note: I will never unleash any pet on a walk or out of where it safely inhabits unless I have permission expressed from the owner to do so and a command or solution on how to get the pet back on leash when necessary. An example would be permission from an owner to unleash their dog in a fenced dog park or local park known to the owner. Owner would need to let me know the best way to get their dog back on leash safely if they're known to be rowdy.
