My Care, Your Comfort & Security.

Pet care experience

I’ve had dogs since I was a young teenager. I’m an active volunteer for Corgipalooza Rescue & Rehab and also work at Willamette Valley Animal Hospital and have experience with young & senior dogs, some reactive and low confidence dogs as well as canines with disabilities (health issues ranging from blindness and hearing loss to missing limbs and wound care.) I am also open to providing services for pets who are muzzle trained or need special care. I have three dogs personally including one with disabilities, an adult herding breed, and a puppy and I am looking to help pet parents provide exercise and care for their animals when their own schedule may not allow it. You provide the pet, I’ll provide the care! 😊

Ciera is great with animals & one of very few who I trust my furbabes with! 10/10 definitely recommend! She always takes excellent care of animals. She is involved with a local rescue & does a ton for the animals in our community.

Ciera is one of the biggest dog lovers I know! She plays fetch in the pouring rain with her dog just because she knows he loves it. My dog is a nervous mess with new people but she'll get on the ground with him and give him all the rubs. She also doesn't bat an eye if she's getting borked at and won't hesitate to get up and see what a doggo needs, so I know she's one of the best.

Safety, trust & environment

As far as pick-ups for exercise based services, I generally use a hammock in the back and can provide the seatbelt for harness wearing dogs. I drive a Mid-size SUV and can lay my seats down for a crate as well. For drop-ins, I can assure Covid-friendly procedures including sanitation and gloves/masks. Feel free to let me know whatever I can do to assure safety and comfort for you, your pet, and your home!

Information Ciera A. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet is reactive (spicy!) so I know to take extra care in helping them relax and build a confident relationship. If your pet has any injuries or special needs please let me know before hand. And feel free to update me on all your commands for your pet and any preferences you may have.

A typical day

First I like to build some confidence with the dog and let them know I’m there for good things! Simple walks and potty breaks. If the dog is pretty toy or food motivated, I like to introduce those early on so the short times I’m with them they can relate good things to me being around. Depending on the animal, maybe we will take a walk and then relax for a moment or maybe we will play really hard and get the ants out of our pants. Play is important but I also want to make sure I’m not deviating from your set training and expectations of your pet so I will be mindful to include those in our time together.
