Pet care experience
I love animals and want to spend as much time with them as I can! I have lots of experience taking care of high-energy dogs, special-needs cats and dogs, and all the like. :) I will send you lots and lots of pictures of your pet(s) while you are away!! Just let me know what you need and of course I will give them lots of love, walks, play time, pets, scritches, tidy up, etc. I am all about communication so will be checking in with you to let you know how they are doing and anything else you may need! I've had and cared for pets since I was 9 years old. I am now 28 yrs old and working a remote, flexible job in the LoHi area! I've grown up always having both cats and dogs. I’ve had 2 wonderful large dogs (a black lab and a hound), 2 other adorable medium-sized dogs (hound mix and westie), and a cuddly cat (gray tabby) that I have walked, fed, played with, loved, trimmed nails, gave medicine to, etc. I don't mind larger or more active dogs at all! I am no stranger to cleaning up messes and making sure nothing small and edible is left out. :) I am more than okay to give your fur babies special care. I've done long-term stays with both high-need cats and dogs. I'm also very active and am happy to walk or even run with your pets as needed! Currently don't have any pets so hoping to live vicariously through you and your pets. :)

For pet sitting, it is helpful to know your typical daily routine around walks, food, bathroom breaks, treats, etc. Also, what words you use to mean "no." It is helpful to know if your dog does well in the car, and public spaces, and if they would be up for a moderate hike! Let me know if your dog/cat has any special needs or behaviors that I should look out for. I have experience with dogs that have possessive aggressive and reactive tendencies just please let me know this ahead of time. Also, how they do with children or other dogs, just in case. Any details around feeding, bathroom breaks, etc. If they tend to get into things they are not supposed to, let me know as well so I can be mindful of that.
A typical day
First and foremost I will send lots of pictures and updates to you of your pets! I’ve booked people on Rover for my own animals and it was always such a relief to see pictures and hear how my babies were doing! Love to walk and play with dogs, with cats as well! Of course, I am always down for giving and receiving some cuddles and love. For cats and dogs, I love to give them a brushing, lots of pets and kisses, play with them, clean the litter box, pick up poops; really whatever your pet needs and wants! I love visiting the dog park if your dog(s) play well with others, or long walks around the neighborhood parks.

Availability
I work from home at a tech company and have a ton of flexibility, especially during the week. I tend to be more of an early riser so happy to get there early if needed.
