I've worked as a dog board-and-train specialist in Los Angeles for 2 years, additionally I've been a member of a no-kill rescue's behavioral team for 2 years. I'm passionate about our fuzzy family members and am always researching the latest in behavior and ethical training. If your pup is young, fearful, on a training protocol or just needs some extra consistency, I'm your gal! I also provide clever activities and puzzles to keep them occupied and busy; I have tricks up my sleeve for even the cleverest dogs. My own dog is a husky so highly active or giant dogs are fine, as are any medical needs. I'm experienced with keeping track of strict med schedules, and treating conditions such as epilepsy and displaysia. I'm also familiar with post-surgery care so if you need to trust doctor's orders are followed in your absence, no problem. Depending on your pet's personal speed, I can be a couch cuddler or an outdoor hiker; my own pup can even join in if they like a big, friendly playmate or we can keep it casual if they prefer 1-on-1. My specialty is puppies; I have potty trained entirely too many dogs to count, so bring me your small fuzzy overactive bladders. The floors are hardwood, so no carpet pressure ;) I am a worry wort and know what I expect when someone else has to take care of my dog; I will provide tons of pictures and updates, let you know how meds went every time and give you a behavior update. If your dog loves making friends, our awesome dog park here in Pasadena is a favorite of mine & I'm happy to change our walk or drop-in to a trip there. I'm a proactive handler at parks, and know my way around dog body language to keep play safe. I have a large sedan with protective covering, if they need transport while with me (to a vet, groomer, park etc). I work in the film industry, so during a boarding stay I typically only leave for 1-2 hrs at a time for auditions. Otherwise I am quite a homebody.
