Pet care experience
I grew up with the best black and white sheltie as a child. I've wanted my own dog for years now but I'm not quite there yet so I'm looking for ways to add more dogs to my life. I also have experience pet and house sitting for my friends with cats and lived with a cat for 2 years in grad school.

Ciara did a great job with our dog while we were gone and the house was spotless upon our return. Our first time with Rover and Ciara but I would use both again.

Ciara was all around great...reliable, caring and loving to my dog, Sweet Pea. She worked from my home, which gave me peace of mind that Sweet Pea would not have to spend large amounts of time alone. I would definitely ask Ciara back to stay with Sweet Pea.
Ciara was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our cat. Our cat is extremely affectionate and needs a lot of attention or she gets extremely anxious, and Ciara did a great job giving her everything that she needed. We came home to a very happy cat, which was exactly what we were hoping for!

At this point I'm not sure about having pets in my home but open to it if it's a good fit. Happy to follow whatever house rules/schedule you have for your home. Also happy to water plants, check mail, and put the garbage cans on the curb while you're gone - just let me know!

Besides activity needs and play preferences, I also need to know diet schedules, medication schedules/needs (and any tricks you've perfected for getting your dog to take meds). I'd also love to know any other quirks or eccentricities to help make it the best fit for me and your pets! I treat pets like babies and am used to getting a list of needs like I'm babysitting.
A typical day
I adapt to the dog, house, area, toys, etc. Love going on walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails. My car is dog friendly so can drive to longer trails depending on the needs of the dog/length of stay. I really look to the owners to let me know the dog's preferences and needs, as well as the spontaneity of the moment.

Availability
I currently work full time but I'm remote so I can work anywhere and have a flexible schedule. I'd prefer to work from your home during the day/night to cut down on driving time for walks and feeding schedules. Open to other situations if they make sense. Right now I'm more available/flexible during the week but can make weekends work too if I know ahead of time. I'm vaccinated in case that's a concern for being in your home.
