I think it's really important to know the temperament and personality of a dog before sitting or walking them. I am an owner of two pit bulls, one who is high energy, and other-animal aggressive. I tend to maintain a high alpha position with dogs of this nature to ensure that they understand who is in control, which minimizes risk for them and other animals or people we might come in contact with. I also really like to have fun, so having as much information about a dog as possible helps me to identify what approaches and environments are best and safe for them, so we can have a good time.

I enjoy taking dogs on walks in the neighborhood for quick and easy exercise. If a neighborhood is too risky or boring, I enjoy going to parks that offer more of an adventure.
