Chuck/ long time lover & owner of dogs!

Chuck Black CPA, MBA, MDiv

I have returned to the East Bay in order to begin some lifestyle changes which includes working with pups. I love being with dogs and they replenish my physical and emotional energy all round. In addition to the services advertised I can also day board your dog if you would like during those times you have longs days at work.

I am in a big loft with plenty of space ...

What Chuck would like to know about your dog

I have been very lucky in all the dogs I watch. They all have great owners who have definitely given their dogs lots of love. They are all well behaved-don't bark unless there's something to bark about and very easy going. I love each and every pooch that I've been lucky enough to watch. I have to say I spoil them quite a bit. My beloved Max, (German Shepherd-no longer alive) was always accommodating to new visitors. Huey my rescue Terrier loves dogs and makes friends easily. He will happily play with your pets or leave them alone if they don't want to play.

When Chuck watches your pet

My primary focus is on your pet"s physical and emotional needs...a big part of this is making sure they are feeling secure.

They miss you while you are away and I make sure to talk and give everyone a lot of loving while they are here. I spend alone time with each pet to make sure I communicate to them that they are safe and I will take good care of them.

I have over 400 hours in massage training and also give each of my dogs massages while they are here. The geriatric ones especially enjoy this work on their tired bodies. I have a special 15 year old Golden Retriever who always makes it outside to go potty even though it's hard on him.

We walk 4 times a day. Morning, Lunchtime, Late Afternoon and Last Call @ 9-10. Two of the walks are 20 minutes or more.

Additional walks may occur if needed...i.e oldsters who needs more pee runs, etc.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement....
Your pet can sleep wherever they want to sleep. If they want to jump in bed with me that's fine. Everybody has different places they want to sleep so that's cool-I have no restrictions/but you might-- so please let me know.

Time I'll spend with your dog:

Generally I'm always at home working on my book, or accounting/tax practice, therefore I'm with your pet(s) most of the time. I am currently taking two online classes. I do try to get away for yoga classes and church.

Having dogs in my life is a joy...and I am happy I can make money doing what I love.
