Pet care experience
Love loving and taking care of all dogs, especially my big mutt Ginger who I can't remember living without. She recently passed, so I'd love to help out anyway I can so I can keep dogs in my life! I helped take care of Ginger for 12 years with walks, baths, feeding, playing, and training, and I used to pet-sit (feed/walk/check on) my neighbors dogs and cats too.

Christy is a 5/5 star dog walker! She offered to do a meet and greet the same day even though I requested her services very last minute. She is very communicative and provides great updates. She made me feel confident in her abilities so I was worry-free while away from my pup! I would definitely recommend her and will be a return customer.

Happy to follow any guidelines you have in terms of your pet's safety! I know my dog used to be a little unreliable when meeting other dogs/people, so in general I just avoid other interactions when possible on walks. I'm very patient, and I don't believe in yanking the leash unless absolutely necessary.

I know commands for certain things vary across owners, so if there are any special ones you use often those are definitely helpful to know. I would also ask you to disclose any health issues you think I should know about and how you approach them. Other than that, you know your dog best! If you think there's something I need to know, I'm all ears :)
A typical day
Huge fan of cuddling, teaching new tricks, playing fetch or tug of war, and exploring new areas on walks! While I may not always be able to take your dog to my favorite spots on walks, I love getting more familiar with Charlottesville by taking your dog around its own usual terrain.

I'm working part time as a server at a local restaurant, so I'm free just about every morning until 11 or 2 if I'm working, and if I'm not I'm free all day/night! Unfortunately my schedule is not super reliable in terms of which days of the week I'll be working, but I'll be sure to keep it updated on here :)
