The animals in my care are family
Pet care experience
I have over 15 years experience working with trainers (including a CPDT-KA licensed instructor), groomers, and boarders where we worked with individuals, groups, and the public (non profit training for therapy dog traing and certification) on dog obedience, agility and rally, and AKC Good Citizen and TDI dog training. I love animals, believe in positive training methodologies and treating animals with care and respect and as part of your, and when in my care, my family. I will do everything within my power to make sure your pets are given the exercise, attention, potty breaks, and sustenance they need and follow the instructions and rules you provide to make sure they are happy when you get home to them. I will be honest, timely, and respectful at all times.
Reviews
Christy and her husband were amazing to simba. She had plenty of exercise and play time including walks to the park and beach. Needless to say, we had a tired pup back at home. :) Definitely recommend Christy!

Information Christy C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what your pet needs in order to be happy while in my care. I love animals and they bring so much joy into my life, I want to know what I can do for them, and to serve you as my client. Some questions I will ask: 1. What kind of exercise does your dog prefer? 2. What are their favorite toys? 3. What is the feeding schedule? 4. When are treats provided? 5. Are there any dietary restrictions or allergies I should be aware of? 6. Any medical history to be cognizant of during stay? 7. How does your dog indicate need to "potty" or are they on a routine I should follow? 8. Do you crate, do you allow on furniture, where/how does your dog sleep at night (room, dog bed, etc) 9. How does your dog do for short car rides (to go to park, etc)? 10. How does your dog handle being left alone (any separation anxiety, etc)- and if left alone, what is routine, left to roam free in house, shut in a smaller area of house or a room, or crated? 11. Most importantly...tell me anout your dog....happy, bouncy, mellow, laid back, full of energy, protective, anxious, shy, whatever fits (no wrong answers!) 12. If i could teach your dog one command or behavior, what would you love them to learn or work on? ( no promises but would love to know what I might be able to focus on should there be something) 13. I believe in positive reinforcement with my pets, and that is how I would prefer to act with your pets too. I will always be respectful of your rules, and the safety and security of everyone will be top of mind in all of my actions.
A typical day
We live in a safe, quiet neighborhood to allow for walks from our home, we also have a very large neighborhood park with loads of green area, fenced areas, and close to a .5 mile walking loop. In addition to that we have a fenced in side and back yards. The first floor of the house is nice wide open plan for plenty of play and movement area.
