Your dog is part of the family!

Pet care experience

I’m an extremely reliable person who enjoys and loves dogs and all animals! I have loved and owned animals all of my life. With me, you get reliability, tons of experience, and I am a patient person who is great with animals! I also verify and keep track of vaccinations so you can be sure you're dog is as safe as possible here. Be wary of sitters that do not ask for this information as Rover does not ask for it! I also groom from my home! Ask me if you're interested - Rover doesn't offer this service but I groom through my LLC - 'Uptown Dogs, LLC' I send a lot of video updates which is why rover shows low on my photo sending but I always send you updates! I need at least one weeks notice if you’d like a meet and greet prior to your dogs stay. I am working from home for now so am with the dogs all day! I am very flexible on drop off and pick up times and will communicate with your for appointments. I do have work meetings sometimes, but will communicate the times for drop off and pick ups I can/cannot do as the days approach. I have a senior English bulldog named Penelope and a French bulldog named Hilde. Both girls love other dogs (and people!) and get along well with other dogs- which is a must to stay with us! I have a new addition to my dog family as well - a 2 year old frenchie girl named Mabel. For everyone's safety your pup must be current on all vaccinations. I provide a loving home for your dogs as if they're my own. ENVIRONMENT: -Large fenced in back yard -Large fenced in dog run for extra active dogs - 8 ft by 8 ft galvanized steel covered outdoor kennel - for dogs that like to play inside of a structure -baby gated areas for play breaks (good for seniors!) or for dogs that want some private nap time etc -dogs allowed on furniture -plenty of toys, bones, beds, and loving's! -most of the time you don't need to bring a crate, or beds. I have plenty of extra's - a dog bedroom just for the dogs! More about us: I know how to care for the short nosed dogs and am well aware of all of the special needs they have - such as not being in the heat at all, and I am very protective of taking care of them! Penelope is an 8 year old female, and she is a feisty happy little thing. She likes to great everyone that comes over. Hilde is a sweet loving frenchie who loves people, and she is 5 years old. I am also use to cleaning all of their wrinkles and skin folds and am use to giving shots as well (I used to have a doggie with arthritis).. If your dog can't have treats or is on a special diet just let me know! I am careful about going in and out of the house as well so no one escapes. I go in and out through the garage a lot and also use baby gates for their protection. Everyone gets lots of loving's all day and I let them on my furniture (if they're allowed at home ;-), and try to accommodate at my house how they sleep at home to what they’re use to. I have no problems with taking extra special care of any dog if needed, so feel free to ask if you need. I am also a very active person and will walk your dog if you'd like that as well. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs. I do charge a minimum of $45 for one overnight stay which I will adjust if you send a booking request for just one night. If you book 2+ nights, then my normal rate applies. If you need a drop off time in the early am please check with me first. I may need you to come the night before. If you need to pick up after 7 pm please check with me prior. I may need you to book another night. I will always confirm pick up and drop off times with you, and only use Rover's times as the tentative plan. Thank you, Christy

Christy has watched our dog for numerous long trips and always takes such great care of her. As much as we hate leaving our dog behind I always know she will be well loved and taken care of while we’re gone.

This was Moki’s first long stay while we traveled, and I’m really glad we chose Christy to leave him with. She sent an update every day, and allowed us to have a home visit beforehand so we could meet her sweet Frenchies, and Penelope, her bulldog. Moki was happy and calm when we picked him up, and eager to go into her house again when we stopped by to pick up something we left behind. I would definitely book with Christy again.

Christy took such great care of our pup! She provided timely updates with photos and videos of him. We were able to sneak a few days away without worrying about him. Will definitely be looking to come back to Christy! :)

I have 2 bedrooms just for dogs that I use when I crate them at night for sleeping, or when I am out. I also have 2 hallways with baby gates for time outs or dogs that don't want to be bothered by others. Most of the time they have access to the whole house. I have a large fenced back yard as well as an 8 by 8 outdoor steel kennel that's covered - some dogs just like to be in there, but I don't just leave them in there really. I have used it for people that bring me outside only dogs. I also have a separate fenced in dog run in my back yard for active dogs.. they love it!

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Christy B. would like to know about your pet

If they like other dogs ok, if they have separation anxiety, how they do at night and where do they sleep, how do they do in a crate, if they can have treats, if they're vaccines are current, if they have been sick, their potty routine, if they frequent dog parks or places with other dogs, and are they barkers/chewers

A typical day

We get up early and let everyone outside to potty, eat breakfast, then play! Some choose to nap. Then usually around lunch we take a break. In the afternoon same thing - play if they want or nap if they want. Everyone eats dinner, plays more and then we go to bed! Usually the dogs play so much that walks are too much but I do walk them if needed.
