Hi -- I'm a dog lover to the max, especially dachshunds, terriers, and labs. Growing up, my home was filled with dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs; and we've always treated our animals like children, caring for them and loving them as our own. I love sitting fun-loving, trained pooches. I have a big yard where they can run around and play fetch, very safe and secure. For those that like going on walks, I'm very active and enjoy strolls about the neighborhood on less trafficked, pedestrian-friendly streets. Above and beyond, I'm very attentive to diet. I've always made it a priority to keep my animals active, on target with their recommended weight by staying consistent with portion control. If your animal has special dietary needs, I am your guy -- I will follow your directions to a 'T'.

We left our 2 (very energetic) pups for a 5 night stay and they had a blast!! Christopher sent lots of photos and was very quick to reply with any questions we had. We felt so calm knowing they were in good hands!! I would recommend to anyone :)

When I'm getting ready to care for a dog, I like to have a good amount of information: the dog's breed, size, and health status to prepare for any situation that might arise. Understanding their diet, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and favorite activities helps me keep them happy and comfortable. I also like to know their behavior, how they socialize, and their training level so I can interact with them appropriately. Knowing where and how they like to rest is key, too, and any special needs they have as well. Understanding their daily routine and any specific instructions from the owner helps me provide the best possible care and ensure a positive experience for the dog under my watch.
A typical day
When babysitting a pet, I engage in interactive play with toys (including fetch), short training sessions, or neighborhood exploration walks for dogs. I offer water play to dogs (when permitted), soothing music or TV time, and cuddles. Activities are always adapted to the pet's preferences, ensuring safety and supervision.

Availability
I work part-time from home, which gives me the flexibility to take care of other things during the day, including my pet Tycoon, and a few guest pets, too. Generally, I don't have many errands to run during the day, and when I do, they tend to be brief and local.
