I own 2 large well trained dogs who completely trust me. While others can be exasperated by high energy dogs, I know they are just being dogs and approach them with respect and calmness. I tend to meet a dog "where they are at" and understand his or her trust will need to be earned if not given freely. I am never pleased when I see a dog being "jerked" around on a lead and do not believe that is conducive to a healthy walk. Our family has been pet sitting for over 15 years in the San Gabriel valley and understand the deep relationship between and owner and their dog. I am prompt and detailed and will make sure any special requests are addressed and completed.
