Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have house sat for friends and family dozens of times throughout the last 25 years. From giving unruly cats their pills to giving dogs daily eyedrops, I've done quite a bit. There's nothing I can't handle. I'm also 6'4" and 250 lbs, so even the largest breeds aren't much trouble for me.

Whether it's play, medication, walks, pets, baths, or cuddles, I always give pets the love and care they deserve. Though that will vary depending on your preferences, there is always a minimum level of care I like to provide: For house sitting I like to do at least one 30 minute walk; two 15 minute play sessions (cats get 4); and bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I try to always be in the same room as your pets as much as possible while I'm there. If the stay is less than 3 days with sufficient notice I can stay at your house full time. Otherwise I may need to be gone for 8 hours/day to work or charge extra. I'm happy to provide extra care (longer walk times, more frequent bathroom breaks etc.), though there may be a fee depending on task/time required.

I'd like to know if your dog needs to be walked more/less than 30 minutes a day, if your dog interacts well with other dogs (for walks/park visits) and if they travel well in a car (in case we drive to a park). Also please let me know if they are allowed on the furniture.
A typical day
Depending on what your dog likes to do we can play fetch, tug of war, chase or any other games they like to play. We'll go on walks around the neighborhood or possibly drive to a nearby park if the weather is good. If your pet is a cuddler, I'm happy to cuddle with them as much as they want. I'm also happy to provide text/photo updates with how your pet is doing.

I'm working part time 9:30AM-4:30PM in Raleigh with a very flexible schedule. I can easily work before or after that time and, if I have enough notice (the previous month), even schedule my work around you!
